FAQs

Answers to Your Bookkeeping Questions

What services do you offer as a bookkeeper?

Monthly bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, financial reporting, and cleanup/catch-up services for restaurants, med spas, and home-services businesses. Every plan includes a fixed monthly close calendar so you always know when to expect your reports.

How do I know if I need a bookkeeper for my business?

If you're not sure where your money went last month, if your reports show up late (or not at all), or if you're relying on your bank balance instead of your books to make decisions it's time. Most business owners wait until they're already behind; a fixed monthly process keeps you ahead of it instead.

What is the difference between a bookkeeper and an accountant?

A bookkeeper handles the day-to-day: categorizing transactions, reconciling accounts, and closing your books every month so your numbers are accurate and current. A CPA typically works with those finished books to file taxes and provide tax strategy. You need both but they're not the same role, and a good bookkeeper makes your CPA's job (and your tax bill) easier.

How can a bookkeeper help with my taxes?

We don't prepare or file taxes but clean, reconciled, up-to-date books are the single biggest factor in a smooth tax season. When your books are accurate all year, your CPA spends less time untangling things and more time finding savings, and you avoid the scramble every spring.

Do you offer remote bookkeeping services?

Yes we work with clients nationwide, fully remote, through a secure document portal. No in-person meetings required.

What bookkeeping software do you use?

QuickBooks is our core platform, and we integrate directly with the tools you likely already use Toast and Square for restaurants, Boulevard and Aesthetic Record for med spas, and ServiceTitan, Jobber, and Housecall Pro for home services.

How much does bookkeeping cost?

Pricing is a fixed monthly fee based on your transaction volume and how many accounts we're reconciling never hourly. Plans start at $450/month. We'll give you an exact quote after a free review of your actual file.

Odishelidze Bookkeeping provides bookkeeping and financial record-keeping services. We are not a CPA firm and do not provide tax, audit, or advisory services. We prepare your books so your CPA or tax preparer can do their job.
